Social grants debacle | Families bear brunt of Postbank system failures

JOHANNESBURG - Despite assurances from Postbank, not everyone has received their September grant money.

A handful of dejected recipients continue to line post offices more than two weeks after they were set to receive their funds.

These are the stories of every day South Africans, affected by the Sassa and Postbank payment failures.

On the same day when the Democratic Alliance laid a complaint with the SA Human Rights Commission and Postbank insisted that all recipients had now been paid their September grants, there remained a handful of families who were still struggling.
