George building collapse | Labour Minister calls for cooperation in investigation

GEORGE - The Labour Minister says politics must be set aside in the probe of the deadly George building collapse.

Thulas Nxesi visited families of the workers trapped under the rubble of the five-storey block of flats.

Nine people have been confirmed dead, with fears this number could rise as rescue operations enter their fifth day. 

Labour authorities have emphasised that all government departments must work together to find answers on what led to the building’s collapse.
