COP28 Climate Summit | Race against time to reach consensus

DUBAI - It's a race against time in Dubai, as nations lock horns over several issues at the Cop28 climate conference.

The language used when referencing phasing out or phasing down fossil fuels is one of the major points struggling for consensus. Climate change experts say it's critical to reach an agreement on the 'Global Goal' for adaptation of policies that are better for the environment.

Tomorrow the conference draws to a close and Cop28 President Sultan Al Jaber has urged delegates to buckle down because failure is not an option.
