JOHANNESBURG - Pressure is mounting for South Africa to introduce 'right to repair' legislation. This will ensure less wastage and prevent environmental harm. 

Right now, some electronic devices are so hard to repair, that once it breaks, consumers throw them out.

Organisations are now calling on government to ensure that manufacturers build products that are easier to repair.
