Man charged with alleged sex worker's murder to apply for bail

The suspect linked to six women's bodies found in Johannesburg is expected to apply for bail.

JOHANNESBURG - The suspect linked to six women's bodies found in Johannesburg is expected to apply for bail on Tuesday.

He is charged with one count of murder.

The women are believed to have been sex workers and their deaths have spread fear among other workers in the area where they were found.

The six bodies were discovered in a building in Village Main.

Police were investigating the disappearance of a woman when they discovered her body.

After questioning the suspect, police returned to find another five bodies in late stages of decomposition.
