Workers' Day | Feasibility of reducing working hours

JOHANNESBURG - The Labour Department is looking into reducing working hours.

South Africans have some of the longest working hours in the world.

But, developmental economist Dieter von Fintel says a reduction may be feasible, but will come at a cost.

One of the considerations is if workers will be able to afford to work shorter shifts.
